US-LATT is a live acquisition and triage tool developed from National Institute of Justice (NIJ) research projects. The technology allows investigators and first-responders to acquire and triage evidence from suspect systems without having to do a "pull-the-plug" investigation. By inserting the US-LATT USB device into the system, the most volatile and stateful evidence can be retrieved and written to individual case directories, allowing for multiple triage and acquisitions with a single device.
